University of London LLB (Hons)

Standard Entry Students
General Rules
- You must be registered for a minimum of 30 credits and a maximum of 120 credits at each level of study.
- On first registration, you must register to study Legal System & Method (LSM).
- If you have completed the University of London Certificate of Higher Education in Common Law you may be awarded credit and progress directly to Level 5.
In order to be registered for the LLB (Hons) degree, you must be at least 17 years old and satisfy the following:
- Either passes in:
- Two subjects at GCE ‘A’ level + at least three further subjects at GCSE or GCE ‘O’ Level (at or with not less than Grade ‘C’)
- Three subjects at GCE ‘A’ Level + one further subject at GCSE or GCE ‘O’ Level (at or with less than grade ‘C’)
- Two subjects at GCE ‘A’ Level + two further subjects at ‘AS’ Level
- Passes in 4 subjects at A Level with a minimum grade D
- Have attained a minimum grade ‘C’ in English Language in ‘O’ Level or equivalent
- BA/ BSc/BCom in upper second division. The admission is open to the graduates of the University of Punjab or (subject to the Syndicate’s approval) of any other recognized university
- Foreign students should route their application for admissions through the Ministry of Education, Government of Pakistan, Islamabad
- Students holding high school diploma/ degrees of other institutions should contact the Director (Admissions)
You must complete at least 60 credits at Level 4, including Legal Systems & Method (LSM) before progressing to Level 5.

To progress to Level 5 and 6, you must be concurrently registered for any remaining Level 4 modules. To register for any optional modules, you must have passed or be concurrently registered for Tort Law at Level 5 and at least one other core or compulsory module at Level 6.

Level 6

Graduate Route Students
Graduate Entry Route Qualifying Law Degree
If you already hold a full first degree you can apply for admission in the LLB (Hons) in Route A (2-year programme) or Route B (3-year programme) subject to approval by the University.
Structure
- You must be registered for a minimum of one module and a maximum of four modules in your first year of study. The maximum number of modules you may be registered for in the final year is five
- Each module is worth 30 credits. You MUST enrol on the online course ‘Law Skills for Graduates’ upon first registration
To be eligible:
- Must meet the University of London English language requirements
- Must hold an Honours degree (4 year) or a post-graduate degree from a degree awarding institution acceptable to the University of London
